NVC is a world-renowned approach to relationships and conflict that has been helping people make peace in their families, workplaces, volunteer boards, communities and their countries for over 30 years.
This offering is a deep immersion into principles and practice that will have a dramatic impact on you, those closest to you and those you collaborate with.
While open to all individuals interested in NVC, this workshop will make a significant contribution to the work and personal lives of:
Non profit board members;
Managers and team leaders;
Facilitators, planners and change-agents;
Individuals stepping into personal leadership
Whether you are overcoming a team challenge, leading a major decision-making process or navigating a family dinner, the challenge facing you is:
How do you encourage all voices to be heard (including your own), get to the heart of what matters to people and create something that works for everyone?
In this intensive workshop you will develop skills and approaches to:
Decode what is going on for others even when they speak through judgments, blame and expectations.
Express yourself clearly in ways that build understanding and trust
Embody leadership presence: self-connected, curious, open to possibility and responding with clarity on what is important to you
Transform your own judgment, blame and expectations into self-responsibility.
Reach agreements and use them as foundation to collaborate
Transform conflicts by supporting others to be heard by each other
Harness conflict for learning, growth and innovation
Co-create solutions based on what really matters to others
Angela Walkley and Myriam Verzat will guide you with a mix of interactive exercises, practical examples, self study and group processes. Their approach is dynamic, practical and applied, supported by a framework of principles and theory.
Angela and Myriam have interwoven NVC into all aspects of their lives and share through concrete examples of how it has transformed their closest relationships, their collaborations, and their work as change makers and entrepreneurs.
